Thank you for using FlowerCare ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website located at https://flower-care.top (the "Website") and our plant care application (the "App").

By accessing or using the Website or App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described in this policy, please do not use our services.

1.1 Personal Data

We collect the following personal information:

Name: We collect your name to personalize your experience and address you in communications.
Email Address: We collect your email address for account authentication, magic link login, subscription management, and important service updates.
Payment Information: For FlowerCare Pro subscriptions, we collect payment details through Stripe, our secure payment processor. We do not store your complete payment information on our servers. Only Stripe Customer IDs are stored for subscription management.
Google Account Information: If you choose to sign in with Google OAuth, we collect your Google profile information (name, email, profile picture) to create and authenticate your account.

1.2 Plant Care Data

Plant Photos: Photos you take for plant identification and weekly health checks are processed on your device by default. These images are only uploaded to our cloud storage if you enable cloud backup (FlowerCare Pro feature).
Plant Collection Data: Information about your plants, rooms, care schedules, and health check history is stored locally on your device. With FlowerCare Pro cloud backup enabled, this data is securely synced to our servers.
Care Activity: We track care reminders completed, health check submissions, and app usage patterns to improve your care schedules and user experience.

1.3 Non-Personal Data

We use web cookies, session tokens, and similar technologies to collect non-personal information such as:
- Device type and operating system
- Browser type and version
- IP address (for security and fraud prevention)
- App usage analytics and feature interaction
- Session duration and navigation patterns

This information helps us enhance your experience, analyze trends, prevent abuse, and improve our services.

2. Purpose of Data Collection

We collect and use your data for the following purposes:

Account Management: Creating and maintaining your account, authentication, and password reset functionality.
Service Delivery: Providing plant identification, health monitoring, care reminders, and all core FlowerCare features.
Subscription Processing: Managing FlowerCare Pro subscriptions, billing, and payment processing through Stripe.
Communication: Sending transactional emails (magic links, subscription confirmations, important service updates).
Product Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to improve AI models, fix bugs, and develop new features.
Customer Support: Responding to your questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing assistance.

3. Data Storage and Privacy

Local-First Architecture: FlowerCare is designed with privacy in mind. All core features work offline, and your plant data is stored locally on your device by default.
On-Device Processing: Plant identification and health check AI models run directly on your device. Your plant photos are never sent to our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud backup.
Optional Cloud Backup: FlowerCare Pro users can optionally enable cloud backup to sync data across devices and enable family sharing. This feature is opt-in and can be disabled at any time.
Data Retention: We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request complete data deletion by contacting support.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Email Services: Resend for transactional emails (magic links, subscription confirmations)

5. Family Sharing

FlowerCare Pro includes optional family sharing. When you share access to your plant collection with household members:
- Shared users can view and edit your plant data, photos, and care schedules
- You control who has access and can revoke access at any time
- Shared users must have their own FlowerCare accounts

6. Children's Privacy

FlowerCare is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Access: Request a copy of all personal data we have about you

Cloud Backup Control: Enable or disable cloud sync at any time
Marketing Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from promotional emails (we send very few, if any)

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
